 Welcome! My website has been influenced by both my love of photography and my constant exposure to the wonderful landscapes and surrounding areas, that I have been fortunate enough to live around all my life. I remember as a young boy going out with my father, who also was a keen photographer and taking countless photos when he was alive. Of course there was no digital technology back then! It was a good few years ago that I discovered his old equipment which brought back memories and got me hooked. I have never had the pleasure of developing my own photos, as I went straight from my compact, into the world of digital SLRs. I have upgraded and now shoot with a D3, which is an amazing piece of kit, that along with aD300 as a back up body. The FX sensor, weather proofing and sturdier build, in conjunction with the easy navigational features, helped me make my decision! Along with the fact, that I shoot quite frequently along the Donegal coast, which does mean my camera must be able to withstand a certain level of abuse! I have invested wisely in my lenses, and currently use three main pieces of glass, which are listed below: Nikkor 70-200f2.8 VR Nikkor 24-70 f2.8G ED nikkor nifty fifty Sigma 10-20 4-5.6 DC HSM Along with a set of Lee Grads and a sturdy tripod, I have everything I need to take the perfect picture!
